We are committed to the highest ethical and responsible practices across our operations and supply chain.

Not only because they are essential to long-term success, but because it’s simply the right thing to do. Sustainability shapes our decisions and the way we work every day, from the boardroom to our operational sites.

2025 Highlights

Our Context

We operate primarily on our client’s mining and exploration sites, with exceptions for our commercial laboratories, offices and some workshops.

We are committed to managing the environmental and social impacts of our activities, working closely with our clients who typically control many aspects of sustainability performance on site, including:

  • Fuel and energy supply
  • Waste disposal
  • Biodiversity management and site rehabilitation
  • Community engagement and grievance management

While our direct influence over many of these factors can be limited, we apply our own sustainability policies, standards and procedures, whilst actively working with clients to ensure we meet their standards and permitting conditions.

Our approach to sustainability recognises that responsibility and influence vary across our operations. Where we have direct control, we take full responsibility for managing environmental and social impacts. Where responsibility is shared or primarily held by our customers, we work collaboratively to minimise impacts, manage risks and support positive outcomes. Across all contexts, we are committed to continual improvement and to meeting or exceeding applicable legal and sustainability requirements, viewing host country laws and regulations as the minimum standard.

We also aim to enhance our positive impacts and benefits to society through prioritising host country and local community employment, training and development of our employees, host country procurement and corporate social investment in local communities.

Materiality and Material Topics

We conducted a double materiality assessment in 2025 to evaluate sustainability topics from an ‘outside-in’ perspective, considering their potential impact on our financial performance or ‘financial materiality’ and an ‘inside-out’ perspective, assessing our potential impact on society and the environment or ‘impact materiality’.

We engaged a broad range of stakeholders through surveys and discussions, receiving feedback from:

  • Internal stakeholders across our Board, senior leaders and key functions
  • External stakeholders including suppliers, customers, investors and lenders.

Our assessment considers both actual and potential impacts (positive and negative) and is informed by our existing risk management processes at corporate and site level. We also consider legal requirements and best practice reporting guidelines, assessing industry specific topics. As a mining service provider, not all mining topics will be relevant to our business, the materiality process is therefore useful to highlight those topics most relevant to our activities. The Sustainability Committee was involved in key decisions during the materiality assessment, with final approval of material topics.
