2025 Highlights
Our Approach
Our employees are the backbone of our Company and play a vital role in our success.
Guided by the convention of the International Labour Organisation (ILO), international human rights norms, prioritising fairness, inclusion and diversity and responsible employment practices, recognising our employees well-being directly impacts our business. We prioritise employment from host-countries and regions around our activities and provide opportunities for training, development and career growth.
Host Country EmploymentResponsible Employment
We’re committed to creating a positive employee experience and our stable attrition rates are the result of support for long-term career growth, fair compensation and benefits, and initiatives that foster satisfaction and strong employee relations.
Our approach is guided by the Social Accountability 8000 International Standard (SA 8000 standard), and we undergo annual external audits through the Social Responsibility and Compliance Initiative Management System (SCRIMS) to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
Training and Development
We have a well-established training and professional development framework across all locations requiring both theoretical and, where relevant, practical assessments.
Our wide range of programmes and initiatives covers operational and mandatory training, HSSE, mechanical and leadership training.
Capital actively encourages employee skills and experience development, recognising this as critical to operational success. We actively identify areas that develop or provide new skills to employees and for certain roles international certifications are available such as internally accredited International Health and Safety Passport through IACA or Certificates in Drilling Operations.
Diversity and Inclusion
We are focused on supporting a culture of diversity and inclusion within our workforce and operations and we uphold a fair and discrimination free working culture.
Our ethically and geographically diverse workforce spans more than 20 countries. We believe diversity, including age, race, ethnicity, culture, gender and sexual orientation, benefits our Company by bringing a broad range of expertise, skills, experience and ways of thinking that improves performance.
